Beginning Photography Workshop Series - Photographic Workshop - April 25-29
An all-inclusive five day, four night immersion in the spectacular scenery of Utah and the rustic elegance of The Lodge at Red River Ranch with Dave Labrum Master Photographer and special guest instructor Drake Busath Master Photographer (with six or more participants)

Each day will include:

• Question and answer time with instructors. As a group and one on one.


• Morning and Evening location shoots. (mornings are optional)


• Pre-shoot primers: We will introduce you to the location you will be photographing, discuss the lighting you will be working with, composition basics, and potential lens choices to get the most out of each shoot.


• Download and image selection: Instructors will be on-hand to help with this process. Image Expeditions uses Adobe Lightroom. If you are already comfortable with another program, you are welcome to use your own.


• Shot enhancement: These sessions a very powerful learning experiences. Lead by instructors, the sometimes nebulous concepts of lighting and composition become clear as you watch your own, and fellow participants images improve with creative cropping and image enhancement. This is one of the best ways possible to become familiar with the astonishingly creative tools available in digital imaging.

Optional Scouting Opportunity Available

• We will offer the option of riding with the instructors and participating in the final scouting Wed. April 24 This is a great opportunity to spend extra time with the instructors to ask questions and watch the process of thinking through the best way to approach each location for a successful shoot.
